The paintings that you’ve offered for consideration are not going to give you an accurate “reading” because of their contrasting colors and fairly even measurements of each (which ultimately add up to a very beautiful and aesthetically pleasing piece of art, btw).
The paintings will most likely therefore appeal to the majority of the masses because of their perfectly executed equality and blending of both elicited and supressed emotional responses within the individual viewer.

LMAO.
That may be the reality of your work to you, but once your work becomes a reality, you should accept it as an compliment if, by chance, someone might attribute an sexual connotation to it, since people (not just men), are very particular about objects that they might seek out as being sexually orientated or personally stimulating (when given a choice, anyway).

I loved the post, Bridgette (but maybe not in the way that youre thinking…I am a man, after all…)

That is a beautiful paining!

For color.. I have always liked what I have liked. Colors of nature and the woodlands.And some parts of different seasons there can be some wild colors. :O)

When I was young I was in Neutral, always afraid of offending, never quite sure what I believed in, kind of a waffle-y kid. Now I am not. And I guess my artwork reflects the same, and now that I can look back a long ways, I’m glad I stayed true to my own ideas (and colors).
If the above painting is the one that disappoints you so, allow me as a bystander and observer to disagree, I am quite fond of it, and can find no fault or hint of what causes your dissatisfaction.
