Finally found some time to work on this painting! Have started on the toy she is laying next to, adding more and more layers of color wash. Adding more and more detail to her face and body. The close up below, is pretty close to the color she will be when finished.

And I think I have figured out a name for this painting, “Urban Jungle”, kind of just popped into my head.

Crochet and Belgian Lace

Crochet
Following my textile theme, here is my latest creation, called, “Crochet”. Some thing maybe your Grandmother knitted with skilled hands, to grace the dinning room table.

Below is a small close up, though as always, my digital abstract creations are best seen large.

Belgian Lace

I love Belgian Lace, handmade, delicate master pieces of incredible beauty. So I decided to create this piece because of my love of this textile.

As with most of my Abstracts, it is best seen Close up. Here is a small slice so you can see the detail a little better.

Thanks to the Kindess of Kim… I will be showing at the Sixth Street Gallery in Vancouver WA, their “Hand Drawn” show in May. Have to have everything ready by March 28th.

Sixth Street Gallery

Will be showing three pieces this time around… two cats and one Children’s illustration Mare and Foal.

Wanted to show a variety of my work and I think these pieces do that.

Circlet ~ Abstract
