On Responibility….

 Dudes of the Congregation;
Welcome!!  And, A Good Day to you.

This issue of ShortSermons is on the subject of: Responsibility

It is written in The Revelations of Minister Skyddz: The Genesis: 5: 1:

1. AND IT CAME, AND IN PASSING; WAST A THIRD REVELATION, AND AN OMEN; UNTO THE SHROUDEDNESS OF HEAVEN; THAT IN THE RIDING
LAY, ITS SELF; THE TRUE GLORY …FOR; THOUGH DESTINATION HELD GREAT APPEAL; TO RIDE WAST THE THING …AS; ALL WHO DID SEE DID THEN COVET THE RIDE…

Just because you think you want something doesn’t mean you can handle it, were it given.  God gives us a fine example of being responsible here:

2. …SO THE ANGELS-WHO-WERE-GOD SMILED UPON THE COVETOUS; SAYING FOR THE FIRST TIME: “NO-WAY, DUDES!: TO RIDE THOU MUST BE FIRST FOUND UNSOILED BY THE STALENESS WHICH HATH BECOME IN THE WORLD, AND HATH HIDDEN ITSELF FROM THE BREATH OF ANGELS!”…

Despite the uproar which followed, God stuck to the guns, as it were, knowing that the stale ones who lived in the World, could not admirably deal with the Ride.  The stale are aware of their own staleness, and that awareness makes them nervous under scrutiny.
Obviously, those who do Ride are under constant scrutiny.  To commit a nervous mistake then can be very costly, as we find in The Genesis: 20, where the ArchAngel Mikey (who is also ‘Caine’), though he wasn’t stale was nervous about the gawkers of his chick.  He gives them all something to think about, then, paying no mind to his responsibility to Able (also called ‘Esther’), he takes her to Ride with him.  God sees and speaks to change Caine’s mind, but it goes unheeded, which brings disaster:

CHAPTER 21
1. …AND; THE ROAD OF PROPRIETY WAST PERFORATED WITH HAZARD; AND; RIDDLED TOO; WAST IT WITH GRACELESSNESS; SO THAT; THE
WHEELS OF THE ARCHANGEL WAST CLUMSY; AND; HAVING LOST HIS MARBLES; MIKE DID FALTER; AND; UPON HIS WHEELS; DID TRIP, RIGHTEOUSLY. AND; SPILLED HIM; HIS ESTHER, DEAD; INTO A PAVELESSNESS…

Had Mikey not cast responsibility to the wind, his chick would not have spilled.  Had he but listened to his best friend, and handed over the keys to his Ride (being intoxicated, and therefore unworthy at that time anyway), all would have been good.

To wrap it up, let me just say; responsibility is what it is for very good reasons.
Pay attention.
Oh yeah:  And don’t drink and drive.  Only the truly stale drink and drive.  Call someone.  Or a taxi, they’re professional drivers, and they’re generally not intoxicated.
Peace.

Good Luck and Roses….

I think my favorite passage from the Revelations is “That in the Riding lay, its self; the True Glory…for; though the destination held great appeal; to Ride wast the Thing”. I’ve felt many times while traveling, and looking at the world and its little boxes filled with people…that I was in my own little box on wheels. I can see the appeal of facing the world without cover. There would be a respnsibility that would reside there too, to both the rider and the driver. Bad riders can ruin a drivers life, or make it pretty messed up. I have second hand knowledge of this but know the driver well.

The second point on responsibility…the drinking and driving thing and those consequences, I have dealt with that second hand as well and it was not good. While driving back from Nevana to Utah, (just crossing the border I might add) the Right Front Finger did appear to us in a cloud to the north, I’m not joking around here, we both saw it…! A brother tried to forwarn us but it didn’t work out well, (shhh…my sister doesn’t listen).

Thank you again for the words!

    Bless you sister.
    Good Luck and Roses….

I agree St Helen that the responsibility is on both sides. However, the drivers do tend to take less than the riders. The riders I feel, take more as they are open to the wind and feel the breeze on their faces so know their mortality better than the drivers who feel safely protected and so take less care. I may be wrong.

    BINGO, BABY!!
    YOU’RE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!!

  5. St. Helen says:

I do agree that the rider is more vulnerable and that is a choice (to ride uncovered) and a good one….if you’re responsible and not afraid…and an alert rider, because the rider can be virtually invisible to the driver if the rider doesn’t know what they’re doing.

The situation I mentioned happened to a loved one (the driver) and an irresponsible rider (not common) where speed and intoxication were a factor on the part of the rider. Whenever someone is injured or killed or both, there are many lives that are affected. I’m just saying. It was one incident but YES responsibility is key.

    I’m not afraid.

I just love you ladies!! Unassuming and not opinionated, yet still willing to say your piece, with an aim t’ward a meeting o’ the minds…. Those qualities seem to me to be rare in our times.
I think I might put Beth in for Sainthood, and maybe lay a little Monastic-Duty upon you two — Not that I see EITHER of you as “slacking”: Quite the contrary; I think the two of you might stimulate this Congregation into attendance. Might even make some one actually consider a subject, long enough to form a valid opinion.
All things as they are; that can only be Good!!

Keep up the Good Work, girls. God and I appreciate you.
Hell, we might even be Overly-Appreciative, if one of us can ever land a paying gig.
Cross your fingers…. And don’t keep your thoughts to yourself, that’s stingey.

I hope your Xmasses were/are beautiful and filled with joyous laughter/your favorite sexual gluttony/other stuff/etc.
    “May Your Marble-Bag(s) Never Leak!!”

    Peace.

    Good Luck and Roses….
