Bottle throw ends Morrissey show

Shure SM58Morrissey quit a concert through the second song due to someone throwing a plastic bottle and hitting him in the eye. (Read the full story here) Someone said ‘He should be used to it by now’…. WHATT???  How about I hit you in the eye with a plastic bottle of beer and see if you can get used to it.

Why pay all that money to attend a concert and then do this?  You obviously are not a fan, so why be there in the first place?  Did you do it as a joke and it misfired?  Was it an accident?  If so please explain it to us?  Or are you just someone that loves spoiling things for others and have no respect for someone that you are supposed to be a fan of?

I for one am very interested to know the answer to this.  I have seen many footballers get the same treatment with people being arrested for throwing things and hitting the players on the pitch.   Is this just a sign of the times or is this a sign of things to come.  Will concert goers one day only view their idols from behind a wire fence like in some bars, or was this a one off incident?
