The photos in this gallery were all taken from negatives that were left over from my shooting reference images for my paintings and drawings. I began to realize that some of the images were strong in their own right, and started the task of processing them into finalized images. I use heavy blacks in my paintings/drawings and kept to that theme with the photographs. I've included one of the drawings, Little Rusy is Loved, in the gallery. One of my more recent works, Okay, Okay, No More Strangers... is included as well.
This image is from the Rivermarket area in Little Rock, Arkansas. It was shot on 35mm film with a range finder camera, the negative scanned, and then processed using Photoshop.

The original is a large pastel on paper, 50" x 38". It is from a series of images I created from the day of the opening of the Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock Arkansas.

Yet another image from the Rivermarket in Little Rock, Arkansas. It was rainy but the water didn't stop one of the street performers from being out and about, or the smattering of shoppers from wandering around. I caught this image as a woman kept trying to talk to the silver painted man wearing black pants.
