New french impressionists art blog and publication of a Claude Monet novel:
Stephanie Cowell’s new blog Everyday Lives of the French Impressionists contains short blurbs of many aspects of the daily lives of impressionists:- Renoir’s children,
- closeness of the Morisot sisters,
- Manet trying to bail out Monet’s debts,
- Pissarro’s self-doubts,
Just a few examples.
She began it a few months ago and has already started to receive fantastic feedback, with good reason, it is a lovely blog.
Stephanie is also the author of an upcoming novel called CLAUDE & CAMILLE: A NOVEL OF MONET (publication date in U.S. April 2010 by Crown/Random House, other countries and translations to follow).
Take a look at her blog now and let her know you found her here
