Paper Preserves Forests
Next week’s United Nations Climate Change Conference has something a little different hidden among the news and views being thrown around lately. I had not herard of it, and you may not have. It involves a collaboration with French designer Matthieu Missian, who has created a paper cut-out sculpture of a tree to help communicate the message that we can all take steps to protect the world’s forests and help to address climate change.

Photography of the tree will be used in a mailer available to delegates at the summit. The mailer also includes information on how switching to sustainable FSC-certified papers can make a big difference to the environment. As well as this, the project involves Arjowiggins working with the World Land Trust.
For each of the state leaders attending the Climate Change Conference, Arjowiggins is committing to protect one hectare of Brazilian rainforest – helping to preserve the resource.
The hand crafted paper tree growing out from a sheet of paper has been created using stocks from the Curious Collection, Keaykolour and Rives ranges.
