Pick of the Day – Jean Gugliuzza
Here are some lovely digital work by a talented artist. I love images of angels, and quite fitting for the season. Jean’s work can be found on Fine Art America. Stop by and leave a comment. Thank you Jean!
StoneAngels.us is the result of our angel project.
Our angel project was developed from a fascination with these beautiful stone beings (angels and mourners).
The gracefulness and serenity of many of the angels are definitely the work of God through the hands of their sculptors.
We like to think of cemeteries as the place we shed our earthly vessels and return to the spiritual beings we really are.
Even with that said cemeteries give a rather daunting feel to most people, so it became a challenge to create pieces of art from photos that took some of the gloom and formidable aspects out.
The angel project has an extraordinary and profound effect on us as we find ourselves in the company of angels
in the place where new journeys begin.
Our work is dedicated to our loved ones who have left on new ventures.
