Pick of the Day – Maryn Chilson
A young talented artist for your viewing pleasure, I truly admire her gallery on Fine Art America. Thank you Maryn!
I’m 21 years old and have just recently graduated from Florida School of the Arts in Palatka Florida with a Fine Arts degree. I have always loved to draw since I could hold a pencil. When I turned 9, I began to draw portraits. I drew all the time! Until my senior year of high school, I was self taught. My senior year, I studied under Connie Shannon, an amazing artist. Then I got accepted at Florida School of the Arts where I studied under Charles Marsh, David Oulette, and Michael Burban. I began painting only after going to FloArts. I received the ‘Artist of the Year’ award my last semester there. Now I am finding galleries, doing commissions, and teaching private lessons. I also will do commissions and portraits: peoples, homes, or pets. I would only need an image sent by email to work from.
