Pick of the Day – Sharon Steinhaus

It is that time of year again, that means I will be featuring images fitting for the holiday season now and again. Sharon’s gallery on Fine Art America features her amazing talent. I can only feature one or two of her images here, visit her gallery  I promise you there will be no disappointment. Thank you Sharon!

Sharon is a Canadian artist painting full time from her home studio near Toronto, Ontario. She originally hails from Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia where she was an active member of the Cape Breton Artists Assoc. Working in all media, Sharon enjoys acrylic, mixed media, watercolour, oil, pencil and pen & ink. She is a member of Ajax Creative Arts, Oshawa Art Assoc., PineRidge Arts Council, Scugog Council for the Arts, Whitby Station Gallery and Durham West Arts Centre.
Her current body of work entails landscape in acrylic from around the Durham Region but also a few from Cape Breton. There are also some abstract pieces that emerge now and again just to keep things interesting.
