He says about this piece that it is ‘An intriguing fusion of natural and artificial light.

As your gaze wanders from the pier, warm in the orange glow of the incandescent lights, up through the yellows and greens at the horizon into the blues and violets of the night sky, you find yourself sharing in the fascination of the little girl in the foreground.
