REMINDER FOR ‘ART AROUND THE WORLD’

1st Angel creator, Elizabeth Edwards, is holding an Earth related event called “Art around the World”.

This charity event, raising money for Greenpeace, will combine the works of creative people around the world.

Artists will be sending in paintings and photography. The size of their artwork will be an 8?x8? image in the centre of a 9? x 9? canvas.

Once the artwork is collected it will be included with the work of other artists, stitched together all on one canvas.

This event is not limited to artists only. Poets are also encouraged to be a part of this event. A poet’s written works once submitted; will be placed in abook being made especially for this event.

The artwork collected as a whole will be called “Art Around the World”. The date of completion will be April 22, 2010, also known as Earth Day and it will be auctioned on that date ONLINE, with all money minus the commission for the auctioneer, going to the charity.

A DVD of music will be included in the auction, and musicians are invited to donate a track for that DVD.

The deadline for work to be received is 15 January, 2010.
