The exhibition, entitled ‘The Vanishing Voussoirs’, will take place from Wednesday 8th October until Wednesday 15th October. Director of Pure Form, Patrick Crouch, explained: ‘A ‘voussoirs’ is a decorated arch stone.
Each of the exhibitors has created individual stone sculptures which make up a complete archway but may be sold off separately.
The proceeds from the sale of each individual piece will go towards the ‘Save Canterbury Cathedral Restoration Project.’
The carvings have been created out of recycled St Augustine Abbey French Caen Stone, which was discovered when digging out the foundations for the University’s new library and learning resource centre, Augustine House."

Student Simon Whiting, 21, from Sevenoaks, said: “I am looking forward to playing my own piece called ‘Screw Loose’ at the concert. I have been lucky to have had the chance to get quite a bit of live playing experience since I began drumming and it has definitely helped me to be more relaxed and comfortable when performing live.
