High school seniors, Ramiro Ramirez of Acton and Samantha Delfin of Bakersfield placed in the top two at the local level of The Art Institutes and Americans for the Arts “Life is Better with Art in it” Poster Design Competition. Ramiro Ramirez placed first and will receive a $3,000 tuition scholarship to attend California Design College and Samantha Delfin, who placed second, will receive a $2,000 tuition scholarship towards her education at California Design College.
