Sigma releases 17-70mm OS for Sony and Pentax
Sigma has announced the OS version of its 17-70mm F2.8-4 DC Macro lens will be available soon in Sony and Pentax mounts. Currently available in Canon, Nikon and Sigma mounts, the Sony version will start shipping from February 27, 2010 followed by the Pentax version from March 19, 2010. »
DxO Labs updates Optics Pro for Windows
DxO Labs has updated its Optics Pro lens correction and raw processing software for Windows. Version 6.1.2 adds support for the Pentax K-7, Sony's A500 and A550 DSLRs and Panasonic's LX3 and GH1. Version 6 for Mac is promised in the first quarter of 2010. »
Samyang 8mm f3.5 and 85mm f1.4 for Four Thirds
Korean lens makers Samyang Optics has announced plans to make its 8mm f3.5 fish-eye and 85mm f1.4 lenses in the Four Thirds mount. Pentax releases K-x firmware v1.01
Pentax has issued updated firmware for its entry-level DSLR, the K-x. Firmware V1.01 adds to the camera's 'cross-processing' feature and allows it to be assigned to the camera's 'green' button.
