URGENT – STOLEN ART – IGOR Paintings Stolen!
I am going to send this as I received it. If you can help please contact the person at the bottom of the post.
This is an important news bulletin. Please read it and look at the artwork below, perhaps you can help locate these stolen paintings!
On Thursday, 22 of October, IGOR member Daniel Goldenberg had a burglary in his studio in Copenhagen, Denmark, where he lives and works. Seven (7) large paintings were stolen, averaging about 100 x 140 cm (approximately 40 x 55 inches). Many of them are new and represent almost a full year of work.
We need to spread the news as far and wide, and as fast as possible. Daniel thinks it will be hard to sell the paintings in Denmark so it is quite possible they may be sold abroad or in an online art auction.
Below you will see photos of five of the stolen paintings. The last two were barely finished and not photographed or signed yet. All five photographed paintings are signed with the name D. Goldenberg.
Please be on the lookout on the Internet and elsewhere. You are welcome to contact Daniel or use the information given here to spread the word. Please feel free to forward this email to all your art contacts. Information about the theft is also on Daniel’s homepage, at www.danielgoldenberg.dk. Daniel can be contacted though his website, by mail at gold@adr.dk or phone +45 3314 3358 (please consider time differences between your location and Denmark).
Best regards,
Ernestine Guita
