We had an earthquake!!
The earth just shook for us in Manchester UK! We often get tremors here in England. In fact with tornados, we get more than any other country BUT they are always so small that they are not worth writing about. In fact, usually we dont know we have had one until the news tells us.
This time however we definitely felt it. The flat shook.
My poor dog, Max, didnt know what it was and pushed himself into my leg really worried. KC and I thought it was great fun.
I have just found out that it hit the whole of England, from my area in the north, right across to the east coast and all the way down to London in the south!

Well the whole of England is talking about this now LOL It was a 4.7 and the largest England has had in 25 years (Last one was a 6.1)
It moved Manchester and many other towns, and has sparked a whole line of ‘did the earth move for you darling’ jokes.
My flat is still in one piece and the only person to be hurt was a gentleman in Barnsley, Yorkshire, whose chimney fell down and fractured his pelvis.
