Weezer singer hurt in bus crash

Rivers Cuomo, lead singer of Californian rock band Weezer has suffered minor injuries after the band’s tour bus crashed in upstate New York on Sunday (6 December), police said.

Travelling between gigs in Toronto and Boston, the bus, carrying Cuomo, his wife, daughter and two assistants “slid on black ice” before dropping into a ditch.

The singer was taken to St Mary’s Hospital, Amsterdam, New York suffering with suspected cracked ribs. FULL STORY
