What were your musical influences growing up?

My musical influences while I was growing up were THE BEATLES, FRANK SINATRA, MOTOWN, BUZZCOCKS, THE CLASH, THE DOORS, NEIL YOUNG, etc, so many more that it would take me forever to list them all.

What is your style of music? Are you solo or in a group?

I’m a solo artist, my music gets described as rock/pop…?

Although many journalists have said to me that they cant put there finger on what my music sounds like, which I think is a great thing 🙂

Has your style changed from when you first began as a musician?

Yeah its changed a lot, I’m really trying to make songs sound like something that no one has ever heard before, I think most artists, if not all, are always thinking along those lines, I’m trying that now with new songs I’m recording for my next album.

Who plays your music?

I play all the instruments on my songs that are on my websites…drums, guitars..bass..keyboards..vocals..and I’m arranging string sections for new songs as we speak 🙂

I like to learn as many instruments as I can.

Do your write your own tracks?

YES… I write all the songs and the music and design all the artwork.

Do you prefer writing or performing?

I love to do both  All the gigs I’m playing at the moment are acoustic gigs, totally stripped down.

Are you very nervous or do you enjoy it?

No I’m never nervous, I love to play LIVE all the time, it’s my raison ‘d’ tre 😉

What is your favourite track by yourself?

SO SAD ABOUT US,  [audio:]  its a real foot stomper  and the song has a great story behind it. It speaks for itself.  It’s a song about the break up of a relationship and not knowing where one side of the relationship is going.

If you could have anyone’s music career, whose would it be?

THE BEATLES 🙂 so much that they did in that short space of time.  It takes bands nowadays 3 years to write an album.  The Beatles did the whole GAMMIT 🙂

Do you have a girlfriend?

NO I dont have a girlfriend at the moment. I did but it never worked out, so i write about it instead….LOL 🙂

What do you dream about when asleep?

LOL  I can’t really answer that one..?

Do you think the internet has altered the way musicians can get known?

I think the internet is fantastic, it has worked wonders for a lot of artists who would never have got there music out there.   I think its great that the artist can make a living out of it also but, it has its downside when people are stealing music and the artist can suffer in that way.

The internet has been a great tool for my music;  meeting contacts, interviews and radio interviews across the world in the short space of time that I have been a solo artist.

I think it can develop even more and will do.

Have you had concerts/records?

Yes, I’m playing gigs every week and I have a 3 track ep called TIME WAITS FOR NO ONE, available to download on I TUNES.  It is also on SPOTIFY

Have you any records planned for the future?

Yes, I’m recording my new album at the moment and will be promoting it on my websites.  A release date will be confirmed also.

What are your plans for the future?

To be able to continue what I’m doing.  Make a living out of it and be successful and look back at my scrapbook of madness 🙂

What advice would you give to young musicians looking to get into the profession?

Be aware of people who will take advantage of you at an early stage.  I had it done to me and I look back at people who I thought were trying to help me but they were out to make money out of me.  Don’t take things for granted.  You have to work hard if you want to have any sort of success.

Have you done any courses to help you?

No not at all, I’m a self taught musician/songwriter.

What do you do to market your work?

I market my work through gigs/social networking sites.  They have helped a lot.  Also word of mouth is a good networking tool.

Do you use social networking in your day to day life?

Are you available for work (gigs)?

YES!  I’m available for gigs, radio shows, interviews all the time.  Drop me an email at the above sites and ADD me please 🙂

Have you got hobbies?

Songwriting, reading, going the gym and working constantly on my music 🙂

Where are you based?
