In these days and years I have my company – one man company, I’m in special graphic design, digital tricks, effects and lighting effects for companies and for single customers as well . ( Why not, my nose isn’t higher than top of my head). The last one – I’m warning you ( joke) – I’m rebel. Big one.( no joke). So if you are looking forward for my art, I’m looking forward for your reactions.
When did you first become interested in art?
It was probably in my age of 6-8 years old..Ive did my first drawing of medieval age.
What style of art do you use most?
Styles are in accordance to mood. Very often. But mainly Im doing digital works. Figural or abstracts. And sometimes..really only sometimes photograps.
Has your style changed from when you first began as an artist?
I think yes. Works are not so simple – even idea is the same – but finishing is in accordance to knowledge of the software and of course in accordance to imagination.
What medium do you use?
99% is pure digital. No photography or anything else is used inside.
What made you choose that medium?
I love it! Incredible range of possibilities like to realise my ideas. Im limited only with computer speed and power.
Do your ideas come from life or imagination?
I’m using mixture. Its about 30% of reality and 70% fantasy..
How do you choose your images and colours?
I’m not doing it..its something inside..
Do you work in a studio?
My studio is one powerful computer for projects and finishing..and second computer which is doing only renders..and chair!.
Who is your favourite artist?
I cant say who exactly. I mean name. Lot of them and from wide range of art styles.
What is your favourite piece of work by yourself?
Probably Resident Evil. I’m using it like computer wallpaper as well.
How much time (on average) does it take to complete a work?
Hard to say. Every of them is different. But average could be about 1 week. Sooner it was more quick. But just now Im prefering quality. Not quantity.
How well do you take criticism?
I need it. Without criticism cant be any evolution or getting better.
What do you do to overcome a ‘block’?
Truly…I don’t know it. I’m not solving this problem.
How do you know something is ‘finished’? Is it easy to walk away?
Sometimes yes. You can feel – yes, this is finished. I don’t want to change it. Or opposite – endless trying and trying..
Have you had exhibits in galleries?
Have you any exhibits in galleries planned for the future?
No…I have no invitation and really and truly I don’t know like to do it..
What are you currently working on?
Some fantasy pictures. My secret.
What are your plans for the future?
I have lot of plans. But it depends if anybody will like my pictures. I’m doing graphic design, but images..this is something little different..its not so commercial.
What was the best advice given to you as an artist?
” Stop to talk about and just do it “
What advice would you give new artists?
Don’t feel be defeated after one SFB picture. ( ”suitable for bin”)
Have you done any courses to help you?
What do you do to market your work?
Only few things…own site, Facebook, fineartamerica and redbubble..
Do you use social networking in your day to day life?
Are you available for work (commissions)?
Have you got hobbies?
Oh yes…my sword and history…from deep past to the presence..Mystical and unexplained things..as well as pure reality and facts.
