    How interesting! I was actually having a very similar thought about finding your visual voice as an artist when I stumbled upon this post. I think It’s very tempting to look around and imitate those that you admire, or feel like you could soar from the slightest compliment or be crushed by the smallest hint of rejection. really the key is to cultivate inner stillness and admiration for yourself and to remember that compliments and criticisms are more indicative of the person giving them than the quality of work you are producing.
