Each picture has a story. Sometimes it takes a while to see it.
In association with the Comune di Paciano in Umbria, Italy, artist Dorothy Berry-Lound is holding an exhibition to be held at the Palazzo Baldeschi in the centre of Paciano. The exhibition will be open every Sunday from 3pm – 6pm and during festivals and special holidays. It will run from 30 October 2016 – 6 January 2017.
“It was so exciting to be given this opportunity” says Dorothy who has been busy translating all her descriptions so that both her Italian and English visitors will be able to read them.
The exhibition will look at her life as a local artist. Called My Paciano – Il Mio Paciano, the exhibition contains 24 images she feels best portrays the influences she sees around her every day.
Dorothy moved to Italy from her home town of Brighton a few years ago. She now lives in a beautiful house in the mountains with her husband, several cats and two dogs where she works on her art and teaches Thai Chi.
