'For me art or being creative, for that matter is an act of worship. I draw, paint, sculpt or whatever my hands go after to praise God. Even the still life work is made with a prayer filled heart. I cannot work unless I am dedicating it to God. The main focus of what I do is to glorify Jesus and make his name famous.'

I received formal training from the Greenville Fine Arts Center from 1993 to 1995. After that I was accepted into the Bachelors of Fine arts program at Anderson University. I did not complete the degree. After working at various jobs from exterminator to factory worker, I began working in law enforcement. I dedicated ten years to that and completed a B.S. degree program for Criminal Justice. Now, I have come full circle, back to my original passion.

I have had very little gallery exposure. The Anderson County Arts Council had one piece of art in their gallery. The gallery is located in the Anderson SC Fine Arts Center. The piece was a clay mask I made at the Greenville Fine Arts Center and was never returned to me.
