What can society do to help those who are being raped?

In every society, wether in war, conflict,peace, rape has been present.

Not only physically, but psychologically, emotionaly, politically, religiously….There is a need for recognition, and repair. The penalties are not strong enough and the politicians, need to realize, their responsabilities.

Abuses have always existed,And the victimes need to reconstruct themselves, and cannot do it alone.

WHY, so hard ! ?

WHY is it so hard to be,

JUST BE

here and there,

STAND TALL
IN FRONT OF TRIALS

why is it so hard to be,

just be,

here and there,

BEING TORN APART !
BEING SLAPPED !

WHY is it so hard to be,

JUST BE,

Here and there,

SHE can't think,

SHE can't be,

SHE can't move,

SHE CAN'T talk,

just a SHADDOW,

a PUPPET in her abusive husband’s hands

her face is not lit by a smile.

WHEN she looks at you;

she HARDLY DARE turn her eyes toward you !

WHY is it so hard to be,

just be,

here and there,

the LOAD is HEAVY,

the heart is CRYING,

CRYING for a friend to hear,

to see,

to smile,

to love,

to help !

where are you gone my youth ?

my tears are before me !

MY YEARS ARE GONE !

WHY is it so difficult to BE

just be

here and there.”

this is a tribute to all those abused women, children that I have known and those I will never know.its true that men , can be battered and abused too!
