Six watercolor-esque tulips, just a day or two past their prime, dancing in the garden, enjoying the last of their brief moments in the sun for the season. One of the few flowers that are at least as lovely and maybe even more so, as they begin their quick decline. Their petals swing outward in a gesture of defiance as their heavy heads begin to nod. Never mind … they’ll be back next year!
