If Facebook went down have you got all the data somewhere safe?  How about you want to leave Facebook but do not want to lose soem of the stuff you have there?

Well Facebook allow you to backup your data by downloading it to your own computer.

Go to your Facebook Account and Log In

In the top right, go to Account > Account Settings > Download Your Information.

Open the next page using the Learn More link and you will come to this page

Where mine says Pending yours will say Download.  Click on that and it will ask if you want to do that and tell you that it will email you when the download is ready.  This is because it can take up to an hour to gather all your information, photos etc.

Follow the instructions on the email to get your download
